Kirkwood-Dirac (KD) distribution is a representation of quantum states. Recently, KD distribution has been applied in many fields such as quantum metrology, quantum chaos, and the foundation of quantum theory. KD distribution is a quasi-probability distribution, and negative or non-real elements may indicate quantum advantages in certain quantum information processing tasks. If the KD distribution of a quantum state is a probability distribution, then the quantum state is called a KD classical state. Since most quantum information processing uses pure states as ideal resources, determining whether a quantum pure state is a KD classical state is a key problem. Recently, we have obtained some structural characteristics of KD classical pure states.
报告人简介:
胥建卫,男,陕西宝鸡人。2012年于四川大学物理学院获博士学位,北京计算科学研究中心博士后,现为西北农林科技大学理学院教授。近些年一直研究量子物理和量子信息学,主要关注量子态和量子信道的性质刻画,在量子失协、量子相干、高斯态等领域做过研究工作。目前兴趣主要集中在量子资源理论和量子力学中的数学问题。
