报告摘要:In this talk, we shall present an unfitted virtual element method for the elliptic interface problem. Since there is no explicit expression for the functions in the discrete space, a local projection like operator is defined to mapping the virtual functions to the piecewise linear space. Accordingly, we introduce an approximate problem. It is proved that the error estimates in weighted $H^1$ semi-norm is optimal, that is, the error is $O(h)$ and the hidden constant is independent of the contrast between the coefficients and the location of the interface. Some numerical experiments are provided to verify the theoretical findings.
报告人简介:王锋,南京师范大学数学科学学院副教授,2009年博士毕业于南京师范大学,2009-2011年在中科院数学与系统科学研究院计算数学所博士后流动站工作,主要从事求解偏微分方程的有限元理论及其多重网格和区域分解算法等的研究,正在主持或完成国家自然科学基金3项、江苏省高等学校自然科学研究重大项目1项。
