报告题目：Global-in-time solutions to the d-dimensional tropical climate model

摘要：In this talk we consider the Cauchy problem to the d-dimensional tropical climate model in homogeneous Besov spaces. We first establish the local existence and uniqueness with the aid of micro-localization technique and the standard bootstrap argument. By exploring the special structure of the system, we obtain the global large solutions to the tropical climate model with zero thermal diffusion. Precisely speaking, the initial data with the arbitrarily large vertical component of divergence-free part of the first baroclinic mode can generate global-in-time solutions.
汤燕斌教授简介：
1989年毕业于华中科技大学数学系并留校任教，1996年8月在中国科学院数学研究所获理学博士学位，现为华中科技大学数学与统计学院教授、博士生导师。2020年1月访问澳大利亚Monash大学数学系，2019年7月访问美国北卡州立大学数学系，2000年11月至2001年9月曾赴意大利乌尔比诺老员工物数学研究所作访问研究。1998年获霍英东教育基金会青年教师三等奖。参加的研究项目《反应扩散方程和含时滞反应扩散方程的理论和应用》获1998年教育部科技进步二等奖。主持国家自然科学基金项目《非线性反应扩散方程的渐近行为及其随机扰动》，多次参与国家自然科学基金项目和湖北省自然基金项目的研究工作。已在国内外重要期刊上发表SCI收录论文40多篇。2013年获湖北省教学成果一等奖。目前感兴趣的研究领域：非线性发展方程与无穷维动力系统、偏微分方程及其随机扰动。
