报告摘要：Instead of solving time-dependent PDEs step-by-step, there are many efforts towards handling these problems parall-in-time (PinT), i.e., obtaining the solutions for several time steps simultaneously. In this talk, we will introduce the diagonalization technique which attracts considerable attentions in recent years. The technique lies in first reformatting the space-time discretization into an all-at-once system and then solving it iteratively via constructing efficient preconditioner. The preconditioner can be used in a PinT mode and we show that the eigenvalues of the preconditioned matrix tightly cluster around 1.
报告人简介：东北师范大学教授、博士研究生导师。1984年10月出生于河南省固始县，2010年5月毕业于华中科技大学，获计算数学专业博士学位，研究方向为发展方程快速算法设计、分析与应用。有国内、国外和香港地区博士后研究经历。在SIAM系列、ESAIM系列、Numer Math、IMA-JNA、JCP、JSC等知名学术期刊发表论文30余篇，主持国家自然科学基金-面上项目(2018-2021, 2022-2025)、国家自然科学基金-青年基金、中国博士后科学基金-特别资助及四川省杰出青年基金。2016年入选中国科协“青年人才托举工程”。时间并行计算国际会议邀请报告人：第7届年会（PinT‘2018)， 法国CNRS研究中心；第11届年会（PinT‘2022)， 法国马赛。
